Everybody loves a contest. So do we.
So to give our readers an extra incentive to share their stories, we’re going to have them on a regular basis.
You may have noticed on the stories I’ve posted, there’s a “thumbs up” symbol at the top of each story. We’re going to ask readers to vote for their favorite stories. For each contest the writer of the best story will win a nice prize.
We putting together a prize package for the best story of the year, but that’s still in development. It will include, at minimum, a complete portrait session and wall portrait, but we hope to add some other wonderful prizes as well. Stay tuned for more information as we get this put together.
But we’ll have smaller, shorter contests as well, appropriate to the season, or time of year.
To get things started, our first contest will be for the best Father’s story, in honor of father’s day. The story receiving the most votes will win a $200 gift certificate from the studio, to be spent in any way you’d like. The next two vote-getters (is that a word?) will receive a pair of Movie tickets to Regal Cinemas.
This is our first contest, so we’re just working our way through the process and the idea. But we hope you’ll have fun and it will juice up your creativity
