We Oregonians love to be outdoors. We endure the gray, damp winters because the springtimes are so beautiful and the summers and autumns are simply spectacular. So it makes sense that many of our portraits are done outside.
But there’s plenty of times and circumstances when a studio portrait is a great choice, and perfect to illustrate the story you want to tell.
For some , it might be because the family is more formal in nature, and you want something more traditional in style.
Or, it might be because you love the black and white “Relationships” style that focuses totally on the interaction between the people in the photograph.
It might even be that the opportunity you have to get your whole family together is at a time of year that outside portraits would be uncomfortable, due to cold, wind, rain (it does that occasionally here in Oregon).
But whatever the reason, we have a great studio space that makes creating this type of portrait a great experience. See the links below for more information on studio portraits.
